I grew up in Eastern Washington where I attended church every Sunday but somehow the great news of Jesus’ love and grace never got through to me. Then in 1976, at 21 years old while hitchhiking around Europe, I got it! with the help of my older sister and missionaries on their way to Turkey. The missionaries invited me to meet up with them in Turkey since I was just “traveling around.” Thus began an adventure with Jesus that continues to this day. Studying the Bible on location. Learning Acts by following in the footsteps of Paul on his three missionary journeys. Studying Philippians in Philippi; Colossians in Colossae, Ephesians in Ephesus, etc. And into Syria, the Holy Land, Jordan, Egypt. The Bible came alive for me and the Word planted deeply.
Then back to the States for a BA in Biblical Studies, Christian camps in Colorado, youth ministry in Southern Cal, meeting Joy, pastor overseeing small group ministry at the Vineyard in Fort Collins, CO, and planting the Vineyard Church in Loveland, CO. TESL studies at CSU. On to missions in Mazatlán, moving to Mazatlán for full-time missions and now living my dream by planting and pastoring Paradise Vineyard Church in Puerto Vallarta.
